Every photograph on this site is a freely licensed picture from Wikimedia Commons. Most are released into the public domain; the rest carry a Creative Commons licence that allows reuse as long as the photographer is credited.
We choose photographs by subject rather than by brand: a phone held in one hand, a charger and its cable, a battery with its label legible. We crop and re-encode each file as JPEG for the web and do not otherwise alter it. Where a licence asks for attribution, the list below is that attribution. If you took one of these photographs and would like the credit worded differently, write toeditorial@gadgetgauges.com and we will change it.
